This Heritage East Sundeck 36 Trawler has one of the largest volume interiors of any boat this size on the market today. Her two stateroom, two head layout along with the 6’ 5” headroom in the salon and beautiful teak cabinetry and joinery make her a terrific choice for extended cruising or dockside living. She is a 2019 loop veteran with tons of upgrades that competes in almost every regard with the later years of Nova Heritage East models (many of which were made in China instead of Taiwan) all for just a fraction of the price!  

When on deck the flybridge and sundeck are perfect for navigating and watching the world go by and entertaining when you arrive. The fully enclosed flybridge can comfortably seat 6 around the helm. The covered sundeck seats those six and more, plus has a counter bar with sink. The single Ford Lehman and bow and stern thrusters are the perfect combination for economical cruising and ease of maneuvering. The starboard side lower helm station salon door also allows quick access to the side deck for easy mooring. All the decks on this Heritage are original molded fiberglass non-skid. The single Ford Lehman SP135 has a super reputation for long life, reliability and is surprisingly quiet from the upper helm making for relaxed efficient cruising. The newer twin captain chairs are perfect for the cruising couple, providing for relaxed conversations and co-piloting when under way. Add a few of your own personal touches and she’s ready for another loop adventure. Honey Badger is a special ready to cruise upgraded boat.

Accommodations

Starting forward is the guest cabin with a V-berth over/under combination having a double to port and a settee to starboard next to a hanging locker. Just aft to starboard is the guest head with a vanity and vacu-flush toilet. The galley is to port with the necessary appliances and storage that make life aboard hassle free. See details below. Moving aft and up 3 steps is the lower helm and salon. The lower helm is starboard with a sliding access door to the side deck. The salon includes a starboard settee, two lounge chairs to port, a moveable leaf opening table, a counter above the galley and additional cabinetry. All in an air-conditioned environment for comfortable inside living. The master stateroom is aft and down 3 steps. It has a centerline queen size bed, built in cabinetry on both sides and 2 hanging lockers. The master ensuite head has a vanity, vacu-flush toilet, cabinets and separate stall shower. Up from the salon to the aft sundeck you have a large relaxing and entertaining area. There is a full isinglass enclosure, plenty of seating and a counter bar with sink. This covered sundeck will be the focus for outdoor living at the dock or on the hook. Mattresses and seat cushions inside and out replaced in 2018. There is LED accent lighting in the salon, master stateroom & sundeck.

Remarks

• The owner of this Heritage East has had professionals fix what was needed after getting caught in hurricane Milton at a Long Boat Key dock. The damage was some sun deck and enclosure damage along with some teak trim. Not related to the damage the decks are being repainted as they are fiberglass non-skid and the exterior teak trim is also being refinished.
